I am just hoping Antonio is fit to play.....that is our only chance.

I'm just hoping they start Luiz and Ozil, as that will give us a decent chance.

Yes mate. We have a squad perfect for 3-5-2. Solid CB's, pacy wing backs, holding mid's and tricky mid's. Haller is also better not being a lone striker. It makes so much sense.

MP realised it with his switch to 4-3-3 but I still think he isn't utilising the wing backs offensively.

We're the gift that can't stop giving. If ever any team needs a lift then make sure West Ham are your next game. I started this season positive and feel now like a heard of rampaging hippos have stampeded all over my nut sack. Frankly no matter what team we will put out we will make sure poor out of sorts Arsenal will get a result!

I'm fucked off!

Been calling on this since the terrible start last season. It's so frustrating. When you're shipping goals, that is the most solid base you can play from.

But as previously stated, it'll be 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. They will hurt us as they have the players going forward. But we should get some chances ourselves.

Just cant see us winning this one - their luck has to change at some point and we are always a prime candidate for 3pts when you need it.

I agree, he's a key player.

Well volunteered. Wear thick gloves to keep your hands warm.

I like the look of that, but you just know he will go 4-4-2.

I know snodgrass had a shocker against wolves but arsenal cant defend set pieces for shit and these need to be targeted.

would like to see Antonio push up front with haller when on the attack - leaving snodgrass/fornals/anderson to move across and support in behind

It'll be worth starting with Antonio as his commitment will rub off on other players. Then if need be bring him off, but at least those left on the pitch should carry on the fight, you would hope!

Arsenal are lacking in confidence and organisation and Freddie is a runaway twink so they are there for the taking, no excuses.
Can't be worse than against Wolves, problem is we could be as bad

Re: Team for Arsenal
Martin must start in goal again, though, that's my only insistence. I'm not watching another fucking game with that kamikaze lunatic Roberto in goal.

Re: Team for Arsenal
So I'm generally not too worried about the line-up. For me, the more important thing for West Ham at the moment is the mentality. We are, too often, lightweight, lazy and languid.

That has to change.

If we run out on Monday night with Anderson, Haller, Yarmo and Fornals in the side - the pushover brigade - then they had better start covering their ground and showing that they can compete physically in this league. We can't keep carrying them and effectively having eight, or seven, men on the pitch when we don't have the ball.

southbankbornnbred 11:38 Sun Dec 8
Re: Team for Arsenal
My team for Arsenal would be...

Barcelona.

In the event that we cannot somehow become Barcelona, though, I'll stick with the side that beat Chelsea and worked them off the pitch. We've got to start outworking teams - I'm not generally one for Opta/stats etc. but all the DATA shows that we generally cover less ground than our opponents. And it is visible in matches.

I want to see a team that works fucking hard and makes itself hard to beat. Get that bit right, and we have the technical skills to be a decent side in the Prem. But without the required energy and effort, we will continue to be relegation fodder.

The pushover brigade cannot turn up again on Monday night.
